. The medorn design really has taken on the original camcorder shape and design so you really think you are holding a proper expensive camcorder, great for the younger or older beginners to show off to their friends.
The 1.5″ screen is clear and the buttons are really easy to understand, the menu functions are user friendly and easy to follow. The video camera records movies with sound and can be played back on the camera itself with audio through the built in speaker (ok the on-board sound is not excellent but it works). It even has a Dictaphone so you can have fun recording just audio, which is a little bit of fun.
The quality of the photos are great as 3 mega pixels is the standard minimum for a nice looking photo, pictures are superb when viewed back on your PC or even your TV via the included AV cable that comes with the camera (great fun for all the family).
Running the camera on x3 AAA batteries is no problem when you purchased a good brand of battery, you can use re-chargeables to save money and they do last longer if they are a good brand. This is like all camera’s which use AA or AAA batteries, they all can eat up the batteries but this camera last longer as for the smaller screen which you can even turn off to save on power.
To sum things up! this camera is better than ideal, there are far worst camera’s out there that do not look nearly as good as this little gem of a camera and some actually cost more. I would defiantly recommend the ATMT DVC-3060 Digital Camera for the younger or older beginner who wants a bit of fun and some good quality functions that some other cameras do not have.
Well done ATMT.
