Kerrang! In the City Review - Deaf Havana, Francesqa, Futures, Shadows Chasing Ghosts.

We paid a visit to Manchester on 13th October to check out Kerrang! In The City at Moho Live. 

The line up consisted of - Blitz Kids, Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Francesqa, Deaf Havana, Out of Sight, Your Demise, Futures and Architects. As they were over two stages, and the event was quite un-organised in terms of set timings, we didn't have enough bodies to manage to get to see all of the brilliant bands that we playing.

But we managed to catch the following;

Futures - 

For fans of Futures, this show was their dream venue, with about 1m between the stage and the band, everyone was basically sharing sweat! With pretty good sound for such a small room, Futures definitely impressed.

Francesqa - 

Francesqa, of course, put on a brilliant show and, as per usual got the room jumping along to their catchy tunes. After being picked by Tom Delonge to play the Introducing Stage at Slam Dunk earlier this year, we wonder when these guys are finally going to be snatched up by a record label.

Deaf Havana -

At Missyloves Deaf Havana definitely get played a hell of a lot in the office, and we would say they were a favourite of ours, so we were slightly disappointed with the quality of the sound at In The City, for some reason the sound lacked energy, we are pretty sure this was down to the sound techs, so we won't judge them this time!

Out Of Sight - 

These guys were a fun band to watch, and really got everyone in the room nodding along to their pop-punk sound. With a bit of banter inbetween these guys are fun to see live. 

Shadows Chasing Ghosts -

We missed these guys play, but we have reason to believe they played a pretty awesome show. We also managed to catch up with frontman Trey at the end of the show for a little chin wag, lovely guy!
